“ Great attentive staff, we wanted for nothing. Thank you Heidi, Joyce, Cynthia, Yen. We drive from Peterborough to enjoy this restaurant. The chefs are amazing. The food is hot not luke warm, food that should be crispy is crispy. There is an amazing selection/variety of hot and cold. In Peterborough in the late 1960's - early 1980's we had fantastic Asian restaurants like the Crest, Yee's, The International, and one at King and George St. that I am not remembering their name. Now very much not the same. Our experience today brought back the memories of those great flavours. Thank you. ( rotate my 11 posted photos for better clarity) Respectfully submitted, Eric. ”

Fiona and Carolyn were especially attentive and friendly, making the dining experience very pleasant. However, the cleanliness of the restaurant could use some improvement. There were some concerns with the cleanliness of the plates and spoons, which took away from the overall experience. Still, if you’re looking for decent food and top-notch service, it’s worth a visit. ”

“ My experience at the Mandarin has always been great. The food is absolutely amazing. There’s lots of different varieties of food so if you like seafood, they have seafood Chinese food as well.. The environment is very clean And very welcoming. The desserts are great as well. Big massive shout out to the Mandarin! I decided to put in some of the photos of my meal and my dessert. The mandarin that I went to wasn’t Oshawa! I’ve also been to the Pickering mandarin as well both are great places! When you have special events like birthdays, Or rather going just to have Social time with family and friends. Great restaurant to be overall! ”

Our server, Sherry, was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It was also great to see the manager walking around to personally check in with guests and ensure everyone was receiving the best service possible.
